Bed bugs don’t waste time spreading their “parasitic love.” And as reports have it, New York and Texas are two of the states suffering from that “love” they give.
Based on the news from fox23news.com, the housing authority in Albany, New York is having a hard time fighting off bed bugs. Residents said that the Albany Housing Authority is actually aggressive when dealing with the pests. However, the small, fast-paced creatures just keep on coming back, they said.
Meanwhile in Texas, the Grayson County Shelter was forced to shut down because of the said blood-fed insects’ presence for the past few months. Staff of the shelter said that they managed to control bed bugs but because they wanted to clear their hiding spots, they decided to remodel the facility. Their residents were temporarily transferred to other shelters while the work is still ongoing.

“Although the Albany Housing Authority does confirm it has an issue with bed bugs, it says it’s getting a handle on it now.
Residents of the Albany Housing Authority say although the authority is aggressive when treating its bed bug problem, it seems the blood sucking insects always return.
“It comes and goes and comes and goes back and forth,” said Helen Leromain, a resident of Westview Apartments.”
