The San Antonio Spurs are one their way to their next championship. And based on the reviews of sports analysts, the odds are on their side. But no thanks to bed bugs, some things are not all that good back in the team’s home.
According to one report, a motel in the city was recently discovered with bed bugs. Worse, based on the record of Metro Health, it was already the third time for it to be infested.
Motel 6 was the identified motel infested by those vampire-like insects. Its third bed bug case was reported after a woman and her daughter-in-law, who stayed there, informed the Metro Health of their encounter with bed bugs. As said, they spent a sleepless night in the place because of bed bug bites and that they even saw for themselves the insects.
Given that it’s already the third bed bug case for the motel, Metro Health said this recent sighting of bed bugs shows that the management did not do well in keeping the pests off after the first two bed bug treatments.

Hotels, motels and inns are some of the places that bed bugs are more likely to infest. The major reason is the high traffic of people coming and going in them.
For that reason, you, like the sports fans and tourists who would be watching the NBA finals in San Antonio, should be very careful when traveling. Else, bed bugs will take a ride with you back home.
But take note that although the risk of bed bug infestation is higher in those places than anywhere else, bed bugs could be present everywhere. They could be in theaters, libraries, offices, stores and even buses, trains and planes. And that basically means you could actually pick them up everywhere.
However, that doesn’t mean that you should just let them take over your place. Besides the fact that they would cause you so many problems in various terms, there are several ways to successfully get rid of them.
Here are two of the most popular of those bed bug treatment methods that you could implement.
Heat Treatment. As you could say, this method uses high temperature to kill bed bugs. And based on accounts of several bed bug victims, it is truly effective. However, the downside is that it is complicated and requires a machine to be implemented. Because of that, it is only executed by professional bed bug exterminators. And needless to say that makes it expensive.
Pesticide Spray. The spraying of a pesticide is probably the most popular means of bed bug treatment. That’s because it is easy and inexpensive. The problem is, a study discovered that some bed bugs are now immune to common pesticides. So apart from being a risk to health, conventional pesticide sprays are now also ineffective to certain groups of those vampire-like insects.
Nonetheless, Bed Bug Bully is different. Although it is in the form of a bed bug spray, it is actually a non-pesticide. EPA has classified it as pesticide-exempt under FIFRA 25(b).
Because it does not have the chemicals common in pesticides, the ones to which bed bugs have developed resistance for, Bed Bug Bullyworks effectively on those pests. Moreover, because of that, it also releases no harmful odor or leaves dangerous residues.
