As you might already know, mold causes health problems. However, the most common that it brings are allergies. And as a doctoral candidate in environmental sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel said during the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union, it was getting worse. The reason is climate change.
That doctoral candidate was particularly Naama Lang-Yona. According to her findings, which was published in May in the journal Global Change Biology, the high level of carbon dioxide brought by global warming makes regular mold spores more allergenic by increasing the proteins in their coating.
Based on a study she conducted with colleagues, it was found out that today’s carbon dioxide level could increase the protein in the spores of a particular mold called Aspergillus fumigatus by 8.5 percent. And though further checking is still needed, she added that it is likely it could do the same to other old varieties.

“A common fungus tends to grow more allergenic traits in the presence of high carbon dioxide, Naama Lang-Yona, a doctoral candidate in environmental sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, said at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union.
The fungus, called Aspergillus fumigatus, is incredibly common.”

With the allergies that it brings, mold makes things hard for its victims. And if those mold allergies are becoming worse, things surely turn harder for those who suffer from them.
And so, if spores get past your preventive measures, the best that you could do is to get rid of mold immediately. Not only will that save you from its worst health risks but also from a huge mold remediation expense.
To be able to kill mold promptly though, you would need to prepare mold removal sprays. And among others, Molderizer and Safe Shield are the best that you could get. That’s because apart from being effective, they are also safe being organic-based.
