Another apartment complex, this time in Maine, took a big hit from bed bugs. And the worse part is that those pesky creatures continue to bug the building until this day.
In a report from one news website, that complex plagued by those critters was identified to be the Orchard Park Apartments. Located at Farmingdale, it is under the ownership of Maine Housing Authority and management of C & C Realty Management.
The bugs were first detected in July, said the couple Terry Adams and Shanna Lamoreau, who live in the building. Nonetheless, they said that the management was not doing enough to get rid of the critters, the reason why they are still in the building.
According to Shanna Lamoreau, the inspectors hired to do the elimination came in, looked at the units and said there was no visual sign of the pests. But with a zipped bag of the bed bugs she collected, she said there were surely signs of their presence.
On the part of the complex, housing authority spokesperson Deb Turcotte said that the problem was being resolved. However, she said that some tenants were not cooperating with their efforts.

“They are parasitic insects that feed exclusively on blood. And if that turns your stomach, imagine living with bed bugs in your home. Some tenants of a Maine Housing-owned apartment complex are complaining of bed bugs biting in the night. Pointing to the bottom of a box spring, tenant Terry Adams told us “They could be in here right now.”
Terry Adams and Shanna Lamoreau live in the Orchard Park apartments in Farmingdale, an apartment complex owned by the Maine Housing Authority and managed by C & C Realty Management. The couple says bed bugs were first found in one apartment back in July. And they say the bed bugs are still here. Shanna Lamoreau says “Who knows? They could be in the whole place.”

With their growing prevalence, bed bugs could infest almost any place these days. Nonetheless, residences, as in houses and apartments, remain the most at risk from their presence due to the high-traffic of people in them everyday.
Because of that, wherever you live, you must always be ready to kill bed bugs promptly. And that’s because although you could prevent them from coming in to your place, they could sneak their way in, with them being such good hitchhikers.
But what could you do to prepare for their presence? The answer is to get yourself a bed bug spray. With it, you could kill those critters anytime easily.
However, most of the bed bug sprays today contain chemicals that could be harmful to health. Hence, it would be best for you to pick Bed Bug Bully over all the other solutions in the market.
Compared to the majority of pesticides, Bed Bug Bully is much safer. The reason is because it is organic-based. In fact, it is even on EPA’s FIFRA 25(b) for being pesticide-exempt. In addition, it could effectively kill those critters, even their eggs and nymphs. And that was already proven true by hotels, hospitals and pest-control companies.
