General Directions
Use
full strength. Apply to new or clean, damp or dry carpets. Spray evenly,
adjusting sprayer to deliver one-half of the prescribed amount on the
first pass. Immediately spray a second time in the opposite direction
with the remaining material. This two pass, crisscrossing pattern should
assure uniformity of treatment. Allow carpet to air dry before walking
on it or replacing furniture. Avoid applying more treatment than is
recommended. Avoid contact with metal containers, pump, sprayers, etc.

Uniform
treatment:
This product works so well that untreated areas will show streaks. Ensure
uniform application after treating. Check by placing a few drops of
water in several places on dry carpet and check for repellency. Apply
more if treatment is not uniform.
Care
of Treated Carpets:
Spills should be removed by blotting with sponge or absorbent cloth.
Soil will release easily as carpet is now protected. Normal vacuuming
will keep carpets clean and extend the shampoo cycle.
