The Children’s Hospital of Georgia was bugged. And the culprits are the small but horrible bed bugs.
A nursing staff was the first to discover the critters. Particularly, they were found in two patient rooms. They were also confirmed present in one waiting area of the building.
The hospital management stated that they were being proactive when it comes to bed bugs, using monitoring devices to detect their presence throughout the building. And at the first sight of them, they said they take immediate actions to their elimination.
In the recent bed bug case, the facility promptly called in an exterminator to resolve the problem. Moreover, they alerted the employees to look out for the crawlies. The people in the waiting area and the affected rooms were alerted as well of the situation.
