Description

Stop Paying Crews to Scrub Rust Off Concrete

Rusterizer neutralizes rust stains on contact. Spray it on, wait, rinse it off — the stain is gone. No scrubbing, no grinding, no resurfacing, no specialized equipment.

For contractors and facilities, that’s the whole pitch: this product replaces labor hours. A 5-gallon pail covers high-volume jobs, refill programs, and recurring maintenance routes without the man-hours that mechanical rust removal demands.

Who Buys the 5-Gallon Pail

In use at NFL stadium operations, Disney contractor crews, and commercial pressure-washing routes nationwide.

Concrete contractors & stone masons — driveways, sidewalks, patios, foundations, retaining walls
Pressure washing operators — rust, lime, and mineral stains across recurring routes
Facility & janitorial managers — multi-property exterior maintenance, parking structures, sidewalks
Marine operators — rust streaks on hulls, decks, and hardware
Stadiums & large facilities — facility-wide rust treatment programs
Uniform & fabric cleaners — rust bleed from metal buttons and hardware on commercial uniforms

The 5-gallon pail is the standard working size for crews running rust removal as part of a recurring service or job-site workflow.

Why Crews Switch to Rusterizer

Spray-and-rinse application — eliminates scrubbing labor on most concrete and masonry surfaces
Works on contact — no dwell-and-scrub cycle, no second pass
Ready-to-use — no mixing, no dilution, no batch prep
Plant-safe — rinse vegetation with water after application; safe for landscape-adjacent work
Pail format — refill sprayers and pump-up rigs directly from the pail
$44 per gallon — saves $40 vs. five 1-gallon bottles

Where It’s Used

– Concrete walkways, driveways, sidewalks, and patios
– Cement foundations, retaining walls, and hardscape
– Masonry, stucco, and brick
– Vinyl and aluminum siding
– Stone, grout, and chattahoochee-style finishes
– Marine hulls, decks, and metal hardware
– Lawn furniture, tools, fences, and outdoor fixtures
– Fabric items with rust bleed (uniforms, awnings, covers)

How It Works

Rust stains on concrete come from rebar bleed-through, irrigation water, fertilizer runoff, metal equipment, and surface oxidation. On porous concrete and masonry, rust penetrates below the surface — pressure washing alone can’t lift it.

Rusterizer reacts directly with embedded oxidation, breaking the bond between the rust and the surface so it can be rinsed away. No grinding, no abrasion, no resurfacing.

Application

1. Spray Rusterizer directly onto the rust-stained surface.
2. Wait for the stain to lift (typically seconds to a few minutes depending on stain age and depth).
3. Rinse with water.

For exterior and open-air professional environments. No specialized equipment required beyond a standard pump sprayer or pressure washer attachment. Follow label directions and standard chemical handling practices.

Technical FAQ

Is this product ready to use?
Yes. The formulation is ready to use — no mixing or dilution required.

Is heavy scrubbing required?
No. On most surfaces, the product lifts rust on contact. Scrubbing is not required to achieve results.

How does this compare to grinding or pressure washing?
Grinding removes the surface itself, which damages concrete and shortens its life. Pressure washing alone can’t remove embedded rust from porous concrete. Rusterizer neutralizes the rust chemically without removing surface material.

Is it safe to use near plants and landscaping?
Yes, when used as directed. Rinse vegetation with water after application.

Are larger formats available?
Yes. The product is also available in 32oz bottles, 1-gallon jugs, 12-pack cases, 4-pack 1-gallon cases, and 55-gallon drums. Request commercial & bulk pricing →

First off, your Rusterizer in an awesome product. Not only great for rust spots, but cleans up aluminum car rims like new. One problem I’ve always had with it though is its delivery mechanism. - 9/26/2018

I am impressed. I just tried the product on an area of rust stained sidewalk and the rust stain is 90% gone. I just ordered a 5 gallon container. We use well water to sprinkle our yard and it has a very high iron content, therefore, overspray stains the cement. We do have a 30 gallon tank that we add a rust preventer, but it doesn’t really do a great job on the rust prevention. I am wondering how well Rusterizer would work and if you have any idea the ratio that I would need to use. We currently use Rid O Rust. We add about 2.5 gallons to the water tank. Our house is stone and does get overspray. Thanks! - 9/25/2018

I think this is the most amazing cleaning product I have ever (in my 71 years) used. Instructions say spray it on, wait for stains to disappear and then rinse off. I sprayed on a brick/mortar wall with 20 year old rust stains, stood around and watched in amazement as the stains disappeared and rinsed off. End of story, end of stains! Could hardly believe my eyes. No scrubbing, just spray it on, rinse it off. I tried an alternative product (don’t know if Amazon allows naming competitive products but I am referring to a product with the words Iron and the word Out in its name) It did NOTHING. - 1/03/2018
